SUBANG: Penderitaan dialami Mawar Nur Farisya Farid Alsuwad, 2, yang menghidap tiga
penyakit kronik berlainan iaitu lumpuh otak, jantung berlubang dan injap jantung sempit, menyebabkan bapanya sanggup berhenti kerja dan menjaganya sepenuh masa di rumah.
Bagi Farid Alsuwad Mohamed Maki, 34, pengorbanannya itu bagi membolehkan anak bongsu mendapat perhatian sewajarnya, manakala isterinya, Sahida Ramli meneruskan kerja di sektor kerajaan.
 Beliau berkata, mereka memiliki pengasuh menjaga anaknya itu sebelum ini, tetapi tidak kekal lama kerana keadaan Mawar Nur Farisya yang selalu pengsan membimbangkan pengasuh berkenaan.
"Dia dilahirkan normal tetapi selepas dua minggu kelahiran, kami menerima berita mengejutkan apabila doktor mengesahkan terdapat jangkitan pada otaknya.
"Kami mengesyaki sesuatu tidak kena apabila dia menangis tanpa henti untuk jangka masa lama hingga ada kalanya, dia sukar bernafas.
"Hasil pemeriksaan mengesahkan Mawar Nur Farisya menghidapi dua lagi penyakit kronik berkaitan jantung dan ketika usianya lapan bulan, kami dimaklumkan jantungnya berlubang sebesar duit lima sen dan saluran injap jantungnya sempit, menyebabkan dia sukar bernafas," katanya ketika ditemui di sini, semalam.
Penderitaan keluarga itu mendapat perhatian Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) dan Menteri Besar Selangor (Diperbadankan) yang tampil member sumbangan RM10,000 setiap satu, semalam, bagi membiayai kos pembedahan kanak-kanak itu berjumlah RM40,000.
Sumbangan disampaikan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif PNSB, Datuk Ahmad Omar; Pengurus Besar PKNS, Othman Omar dan Ketua Pentadbir MBI, Rohany Talib serta Yang Dipertua Pertubuhan Amal Wanita Selangor (PEKAWANIS), Puan Sri Salbiah Tunut.
Farid berkata, wang diterimanya dan hasil sumbangan derma orang ramai yang memberangsangkan, jumlah wang terkumpul sudah mencukupi untuk Mawar Nur Farisya menjalani pembedahan 2 April ini di Pusat Perubatan Gleneagles Intan, Ampang.
"Saya bersyukur atas keprihatinan pihak terbabit memberi sumbangan untuk membantu meringankan kos pembedahan Mawar Nur Farisya dan berharap dia akan pulih selepas ini," katanya.

Entrepreneurship Programme

Umbrella Incubator Vendor Programme
Aimed at budding bumiputera entrepreneurs who own building material factories related to the property industry, this incubator programme seeks to widen the vendor's market and improve the quality of their products with the help of PKNS. 

For 5 years the entrepreneurs will come under the care of PKNS, during which they will be guided and groomed into more confident and experienced vendors. After completing the programme, they can then compete at a level field with more established players in the open market. To ensure the built quality, PKNS constantly monitors the quality of the products manufactured. As shown by the annual increase in the value of work done, the contribution of vendors has become increasingly vital to PKNS’ property development efforts. 


Bumiputera Sub-Contractors
The goal of this programme is to train bumiputera sub-contractors skilled in contract works to compete in the open market.

Objectives
  • To produce passionate, experienced and competitive bumiputera sub-contractors
  • To provide job opportunities to bumiputeras in the field of construction
  • To encourage small contractors to expand and upgrade to become bigger class contactors
Selection criteria
  • Class C to F contractors who are registered with the Pusat Khidmat Kontaktor (PKK)
  • Must possess work experience of more than 5 years
  • 100% bumiputera owned share capital and directorship
  • 100% bumiputera control of company management and project
  • Successfully completed at least two projects within 5 years according to schedule
  • Free from disciplinary action by PKK•  Able to produce work-in-progress reports 


Purchasing/Rental Fund
This programme was designed to assist bumiputera businesses to successfully attain retail outlets in huge private commercial complexes. Through the programme, PKNS has acquired shop lots in Mid Valley Megamall, Amcorp Mall and around Petaling Jaya. They are then rented out to interested entrepreneurs at 50% subsidised fee for the first year, 30% for the second and 20% for the third.

Objective
  • To encourage the involvement of bumiputera retailers and businesses in private shopping complexes around the Klang Valley
  • To produce competitive and resilient bumiputera entrepreneurs in the retail business
Strategy
  • To rent or buy strategically-located retail lots in shopping complexes
  •  These rented or purchased outlets will then be rented out to retailers 


MPPB Academy
Training and guidance classes are important platforms for entrepreneurs to gain invaluable industry insights and strengthen their business networking. That is why the MPPB Academy plays such an important role in ensuring that existing and future entrepreneurs are equipped with the latest business knowledge. This can be delivered through seminars, courses and training conducted.
 
Exposure through MPPB Academy will create a positive impact on the entrepreneurs especially those who have yet to enter the business world.

Objective
  • To provide training and courses to existing and future entrepreneurs to equip them with the necessary and latest business know-how
  • To produce entrepreneurs who are experts in their field and able to compete in the business world

PKNS Umbrella Incubator Office Scheme (SPIN)
SPIN program is designed to help new entrepreneurs attain suitable office spaces within strategic client-friendly locations. This service offers initial assistance for entrepreneurs to establish their business. The rental duration is for one year only. Each year, 16 applicants will join this program to rent office spaces and booths at a minimum rate. SPIN also provides other facilities such as telephone, fax and internet services.
 
SPIN is yet another entrepreneurial program created by PKNS to assist bumiputera entrepreneurs who just started their business. It is an amenities package that covers office, training and guidance facilities, offered to the entrepreneurs until they can operate independently.

Objective
  • To nurture new bumiputera entrepreneurs in any business sector
  • To financially assist new bumiputera entrepreneurs by offering low overhead cost
  • To assist bumiputera entrepreneurs to attain office premises until they can operate on their own
  • To provide business management courses that will be valuable fresh entrepreneurs
  • To create more resilient entrepreneurs by offering guidance and professional consulting in building a business.

Application requirements
  • A bumiputera with 100% bumiputera company status
  • Aged between 21 to 50 years

  • Business operating less than 3 years

Rental Duration
Facilities can only be rented for up to one year. After the said duration, entrepreneurs will have to look for their own office space. 


Selangor PERMATA Club
Kelab PERMATA was established in 2001 with the aim of exposing students of public and private higher learning institutions to the benefits and future of entrepreneurship. Club members will be offered a variety of courses and seminars to draw their interest in the field and consequently make entrepreneurship their chosen career path.

PERMATA Selangor Young Enterprenuer Program
To instill an entrepreneurial culture amongst the younger generation, PKNS launched the PERMATA programme at 51 high schools throughout Selangor. Since its inception in 1998, as many as 6,875 bumiputera students have become members of this programme through the formation of 275 privately owned companies. Each company consists of 25 shareholders, 5 committee members and operates for 9 months. 51 business units costing RM12,000 - RM15,000 each were created to further encourage participations in this programme.

Among the activities and programmes conducted throughout the year included briefings to the principle and consulting teachers, courses for board members and guiding teachers, young entrepreneurs' camps, Permata Selangor promotions and sales, and the Selangor Young Entrepreneurs Programme.

The BrandLaureate - SMEs Best Brands (Corporate Branding)

Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) was awarded The BrandLaureate - SMEs Best Brands (Corporate Branding) - SMEs Master Awards by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF).

This award was presented by H.E. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the Patron of the APBF (formal Prime Minister of Malaysia) to Y.Bhg. Tuan Othman Bin Haji Omar, PKNS General Manager on 11th January 2011 in an awards ceremony at Shangri La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.


Shah Alam - "Sustainable City Award" (2010)
Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor and Malaysia's State Capital and Administration City was the first planned city in Malaysia.

The diligent implementation of the project master plan has earned the 9,600-acre city "Sustainable City Award" by the National Housing and Property Summit.

 
State Economic Development Agency of the Year (2009)

PKNS was awarded "The State Economic Development Agency of the Year 2009" in the recent Business of the Year awards.

"This award is a testimony of the commitment and dedication of the staff and management of PKNS and this achievement is especially sweet as the year 2009 marked the 45th anniversary of PKNS," said PKNS General Manager Othman Omar. In 2009, PKNS successfully completed 26 new projects comprising 1,832 residential and commercial units in Shah Alam and Bangi.

The International Business Review Awards is one of the most prominent corporate excellence awards in Malaysia for companies operating in the ASEAN region.

Human Capital Development



58 PKNS employees formed the first batch of graduates of the Akademi Hartanah PKNS. Urban Regeneration - Kelana Jaya Sports City


 The redevelopment plan of the Kelana Jaya Sports Centre into a world-class Sports City received requests from some 40 interested international and local parties. 17 were shortlisted and have submitted their proposals for consideration. 

Planned as a sports-themed mixed development with commercial and residential components, an arts centre plus an integrated sporting hub, the Petaling Jaya Sports City (PJSC) will have a GDV of RM1.8 billion. 

Urban Regeneration - Datum Jelatak


Located just off the prestigious Embassy Row of Jalan Ampang, Datum Jelatek is a mixed development consisting of four residential towers and an exclusive retail podium. It is expected to catalyse the development in the are and elevate retails value. Datum Jelatek is envisioned as a Green Building Index (GBI) Platinum certified development targeted for completion in the coming years with a GDV of RM800 million.

Improved Profitability

2009 was an unfavorable year for most property developers, marked by a global economic crisis and the rise of material costs. PKNS however maintained a respectable RM166 million PBT for the year.

The audited account for 2010 recorded RM196.6 million PBT, gearing up to RM400 million PBT for 2011.

RAM Rating Services Berhad had also upgraded PKNS' credit rating from A1 to AA.

Track Record

PKNS has developed 11 townships over the last 47 years and currently has over 10,000 acres of land bank with an estimated total value of RM4 billion (as of 2010). The 11 townships are:

PKNS woos foreign investors, Business Times, 20 March 2012


The Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS) will embark on an asset swap deal with foreign property investors and developers to ease its cash flow requirements.

PKNS general manager Othman Omar said the corporation has received offers from the investors from Hong Kong, China and Singapore who are keen to undertake some form of construction within its new developments in exchange for one or two towers.

The business development division of PKNS has announced RM14 billion worth of new projects in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, a bulk of which are urban regeneration and reverse privatisation developments in the Klang Valley. 

In addition to that, PKNS is also talking to foreign private institutions, asset management companies and hotel operators to buy en-bloc some of its properties or lease them long term.


"We want to work with firms like CIMB or Maple Tree for this purpose. We are talking to many parties and hope some deals will materialise this year," Othman told Business Times.

Othman said the investors are interested to buy Grade A office buildings, residences, retail and hotels.

New projects by PKNS' business development division include Datum Jelatik, a RM900 million urban regeneration project in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, involving four residential towers, offices and a retail complex.



Othman said an international investment firm has offered to buy two of the residential towers at around RM800 per sq ft each.

He said PKNS has also received offers from the investors to buy several properties at its RM3 billion Datum In-City@ PJ West project, located nearby Western Digital, starting from RM550 psf.

The project will feature five residential towers, two office buildings, a five-star hotel, a mall and a transportation hub.

Othman said some of its other projects like the RM1.8 billion Datum Sports City project in Kelana Jaya; PJ Sentral Garden City, a joint-venture redevelopment with Nusa Gapurna and the Employees Provident Fund; Datum PJ @ Section 14; and Selangor Science Park 2 in Cyberjaya have also garnered some foreign interest.

He said PKNS will be adding another RM6 billion worth of new projects by the end of this year, in addition to the RM14 billion that was already announced.

Projek kediaman berpotensi diperluas berdasarkan permintaan menggalakkan

SHAH ALAM: Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) mensasarkan pembinaan kediaman mewah dan sederhana sebagai antara projek pembangunan yang berpotensi diperluaskan di negeri ini, berdasarkan permintaan menggalakkan sejak kebelakangan ini.

Berikutan itu, bermula tahun ini sebanyak 11 projek kediaman jenis berkenaan bernilai lebih RM386 juta akan dilaksanakan di wilayah utara di negeri ini membabitkan beberapa kawasan termasuk Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Bandar Sultan Sulaiman dan Alam Nusantara.

ialah membina kediaman mewah dan sederhana selepas perbadanan itu berjaya memenuhi kuota pembinaan rumah kos rendah seperti ditetapkan.

"Kami menumpukan projek perumahan mewah dan sederhan berdasarkan permintaannya yangmenggalakkan. Tumpuan terhadap kediaman jenis itu sedang pesat dilaksanakan selepas kuota perumahan kos rendah seperti ditetapkan berjaya dipenuhi sebelum ini.

"Bagi 2012, 11 projek dengan nilai lebih RM386 juta membabitkan kediaman mewah dan sederhana sedang dilaksanakan terutama di kawasanKuala Selangor, Shah Alam, Bandar Sultan Sulaiman dan Alam Nusantara," katanya selepas majlis penyerahan kunci kepada tujuh pembeli rumah berkembar tiga tingkat Kristal Idaman bernilai RM1.2 juta seunit di Seksyen 7, dekat sini, semalam.

Siti Zubaidah berkata, kejayaan pihaknya menjual 285 unit perumahan jenis mewah dan sederhana di Kuala Selangor tahun lalu, menjadi bukti potensi pasaran bagi projek perumahan jenis itu kebelakangan ini.

Katanya, pengenalan beberapa insentif dan pakej khas kepada pembeli seperti tawaran rebat RM10,000 seunit dan sistem pagar automatik serta pemasangan unit penghawa dingin di setiap bilik rumah yang dibina, melonjakkan lagi permintaan terhadap perumahan itu.

New owners urged to form JMB quickly, Selangor Times, 16 March 2012

SELAYANG: Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) will help owners of a new medium cost development here set up a Joint Management Body (JMB) to ensure all problems at apartments are addressed promptly.

"It’s important to form a JMB committee as soon as possible to channel complaints about repairs and maintenance from residents to us, the developer. We will assist in this," said PKNS deputy general manager Noraida Mohd Yusof during a ceremony to hand over mock keys to nine selected Banjarai Court home owners, near Batu Caves, last Saturday.

Almost all the units at the five-block high-rise have been sold and the owners are expected to move in shortly.

Noraida advised the house owners present many of them first-time owners - to check their units for defects and to report their findings to the site office located on the ground floor at Block A.

She added that PKNS was committed to building more homes to cater to demand in Selayang.

She said the 612-unit apartments, with built-up area between 1,012 to 1,245 sq ft, were sold for around RM270,000 to RM330,000 each.

State executive councillor for housing Iskandar Samad lauded PKNS’ move to assist residents in setting up the JMB immediately.

The Cempaka state lawmaker agreed with Noraida that a JMB should be set up as soon as possible.

He also urged residents at Banjaria Court to be alert to acts of vandalism at their new premises.

"There’s no point having the best amenities that money can buy if they are vandalised by irresponsible people," he said.

Iskandar congratulated the 60 new house buyers who turned up to view their units.

"It’s a good decision to have purchased a unit here. I understand the units have appreciated by 30 per cent since they were launched in 2009," he said.

The housing project was completed some eight months ahead of schedule.

"Kalau boleh saya hendak memiliki satu lagi kediaman yang dibangunkan PKNS disebabkan faktor harganya yang berpatutan, produk berkualiti dan mudah berurusan dengan pejabat jualan," katanya sambil menambah Kristal Idaman adalah produk PKNS kedua dibelinya.
 
Projek Kristal Idaman juga mencapai tahap pencapaian 'Qlassic' (Quality Assessment System In Construction) tertinggi bagi projek PKNS dalam tempoh penilaian dari Januari hingga Jun 2011.
 
Pencapaian kualiti binaan itu dinilai berdasarkan kerja arkitek, kerja luaran serta pemasangan peralatan mekanikal dan elektrikal.

The Andaman Group and the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) officially launched the Sentral@Bangi CBD project at the Andaman Bangi sales gallery in Bandar Baru Bangi recently.

Located along Persiaran Kemajuan, Sentral@Bangi CBD is on 5.44ha of leasehold land and comprises two phases. The first phase is a commercial centre development while the second phase will be a mall.
The eight-block commercial centre offers 86 shoplots.

The mall is expected to be the recreation, leisure and entertainment hub of Bangi.

The price range for Sentral@Bangi CBD commercial and business centre development is from RM2.15mil to RM5.5mil per unit.

All units come with individual lift (first of its kind in Bangi).

Andaman Group sales and marketing director Datuk Vincent Tiew said they had received good response for the project.

“Around 70% of the shoplots and offices have already been sold,” he said.

“Sentral@Bangi CBD is a comprehensive commercial and business hub, in that it not only offers shops and offices for sale. There is also a modern shopping centre with a proposed cineplex and a bowling centre. This is truly, genuinely the last most prime commercial land in Bangi,” said Tiew.

The 86 shop office units will be connected to the shopping centre via a covered pedestrian sky-bridge. The space between the shops and shopping centre will feature a street mall promenade with lush green landscaping, creating a sustainable eco-friendly ambience for visitors and shoppers.

From Kuala Lumpur, the Sentral@Bangi CBD is accessible via the North-South Expressway, exiting from the Kajang interchange. It is also closer to the neighbouring Kajang and Semenyih towns with direct connection to Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.

Travelling time from the Sungei Besi toll to the Bangi town centre is a mere 10 minutes’ drive.

Houses in villages repaired, thanks to PKNS, Selangor Times, 2 March 2012


SABAK BERNAM: Dilapidated homes in villages in the district were repaired by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility last Saturday.

The State subsidiary has allocated RM396,000 to repair and upgrade leaking roofs and faulty toilets for 22 homes and the work is scheduled to be completed by April.

“I’m so grateful for this help as without it my brothers and I might not have a roof over our home soon, especially with the frequent thunderstorms,” said Bagan Terap villager Zamri Sakiman.

Zamri, 39, said their belongings have also been destroyed by the rain which seeps in through the broken roof almost every night.

Living with his three disabled brothers, Zamri explained the difficulties in supporting them and the hardship of saving money for repairs.

“I earn RM600 a month as a security guard and the money is only enough to feed us. We don’t have money for repairs,” he said.

He also pointed out that his disabled brothers tried helping by planting palm trees on an empty plot beside their home.
By selling palm oil to a nearby village, they get an additional RM200 a month.

However, this is still insufficient as everything in their home is falling apart one by one, including electrical appliances like lights and ceiling fans.

PKNS will be building them a new roof, constructing a new bathroom with proper facilities, repairing the piping in their kitchen and painting the exterior walls.

“All these repairs will cost about RM18,000 and are scheduled for completion on Tuesday,” said PKNS administration and development deputy manager Noraida Mohd Yusof.

She said the 22 families were chosen based on references by the Selangor Zakat Board and village heads from six villages in Sabak Bernam.
Among the villages involved are Tebuk Pulai, Bagan Nira, Sepintas, Kampung Tok Khalifah, Jalan Masjid and Bagan Terap.

“We chose the families who really need help, like the disabled and those with a monthly income of about RM300,” she said.

PKNS hopes to improve the lives of these less fortunate families with the repairs.

Noraida pointed out that PKNS will be helping other villagers in other districts to repair their homes after this project in Sabak Bernam is completed.

Also present to launch the event was state executive councillor for housing Iskandar Samad, who was pleased with PKNS’ move.

“I will also be pushing for the state to set up a fund to help repair more homes in the other Selangor districts,” he said.
During his speech, he explained that there were many more villages in the rural parts of Selangor which needed help.
“I hope PKNS will consider adopting this village and give them the guidance they need to improve their lives and social development.”

PKNS expects RM800m sales this year - The Sun Daily, 19 March 2012


SHAH ALAM (March 19, 2012): Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has 29 launches planned for this year and expects to rake in sales of RM800 million, said its general manager Othman Omar.
Last year, it recorded sales of between RM500 million and RM600 million, and net profit of RM319 million with an average profit growth of 20% annually since 2009.
"We also introduced the open tender system in 2009 and achieved bottomline savings of RM115 million in 2010. Last year, we achieved savings of RM100 million and we target the same for 2012," he told SunBiz on Friday.
Othman said the open tender system is one of PKNS' efforts to enhance corporate governance and transparency, and is also part of its rebranding efforts to change the perception on its operations.
"It is a balancing act. Some people say we should be focusing on affordable homes and not build high-end homes to compete with other players but we do not make profit from affordable homes," he said.
He added that affordable and low-cost homes built by PKNS are subsidised with profits from its high-end projects, otherwise it would have to depend on grants from the government.
"The perception is that PKNS only builds low-cost homes but we have a range of products which will help sustain our profitability and survive any kind of (economic) weather," he said.
He said for low-cost homes, it subsidises between RM20,000 and RM30,000 per unit and up to RM100,000 per unit for affordable homes.
"Our houses are sold at 15% to 20% below market rate," he added.
"The perception is that PKNS only builds low-cost homes but we have a range of products which will help sustain our profitability and survive any kind of (economic) weather"

With some RM20 billion worth of projects in the pipeline for the next seven to 10 years, PKNS is looking to raise RM700 million in a sukuk issuance to fund its new projects and to acquire land.
"The sukuk has been approved but we want better terms, so we're aiming for year-end. Besides, we don't need the money yet as we have RM200 million excess cash from last year," said Othman.
According to him, PKNS is also starting to take on a leading role in its joint venture projects.
"In our newer projects, PKNS is now taking the lead with about 70% share; last time, we used to take 30% to 40% share," he said.
PKNS has 4,856ha of landbank, which would keep it busy for at least 10 years.
"We are also acquiring land for development but our focus now is more on pocket land and reversed privatisation," said Othman.

A New Reflection of PKNS

The past 2 years have seen major transformation in PKNS and its Group in terms of improved delivery system, enhanced product design and quality services, better cash flow and profitability, credit rating, corporate image and brand perception.

An external & internal brand audit was carried out on PKNS to identify its strengths and weaknesses.

In the first 12 months, the PERKASA transformation programme results have shown an increase from 7.6 to 8.7 in PKNS Exeutive Commitment Index (ECI). ECI is an executive measurement of the employees' internalisation of the new vision, mission and shared values.

PCM Bina Baik Pulih Rumah Mendap Seksyen 7


SHAH ALAM, 1 MAC 2012 – Pemaju bagi projek rumah teres dua tingkat di Jalan Plumbum Seksyen 7 telah memulakan kerja-kerja baik pulih di tapak tanah mendap semalam selepas mendapat persetujuan mesyuarat penyelarasan yang dipengerusikan oleh Datuk Bandar Shah Alam.

Syarikat PCM Bina yang bertanggungjawab membangunkan projek perumahan terbabit memberitahu kerja-kerja baik pulih di empat buah rumah di Jalan Plumbum 7/101A sedang dijalankan dengan dikawal selia perunding geoteknikal.

“Sebagai langkah sementara, pemaju akan meletakkan pasir ke dalam kawasan yang terlibat sebelum dimampatkan dan permukaan kawasan tersebut akan diletakkan ‘interlocking paver’. 
“Kita jangkakan kerja-kerja baik pulih ini selesai dalam masa lima hari bagi setiap rumah,” kata jurucakap PCM Bina.

Syarikat itu juga menghargai inisiatif Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) kerana menyediakan kemudahan penginapan kepada penduduk yang terlibat meskipun perbadanan itu hanya merupakan pemilik tanah dan bukan pemaju projek berkenaan.

“Ini merupakan satu daripada projek penswastaan PKNS di mana syarikat PCM Bina merupakan pemaju projek perumahan terbabit di atas tanah milik perbadanan itu.”

PCM Bina sebelum ini diminta untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini dengan kadar segera oleh PKNS bagi mengelakkan daripada sebarang kemungkinan berlaku.

Dalam pada itu tidak memandang enteng apa yang berlaku, PKNS akan menentukan langkah susulan yang perlu diambil PCM Bina berdasarkan hasil kajian struktur dan parameter tanah yang dilakukan oleh kontraktor kajian tanah (Soil Investigation Contractor) yang dilantik perbadanan itu yang mana hasil laporannya akan dibentang di mesyuarat penyelarasan mingguan.

Sementara itu, Zain Wahinuddin Idris selaku Setiausaha Jawatankuasa Penduduk Jalan Plumbum 101-103, berpuashati dengan kerja-kerja yang dijalankan dan berharap masalah ini dapat diatasi dengan segera.

SHAH ALAM, 16 FEBRUARI 2012 – Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) yang diketuai Pengurus Besarnya, Othman Omar hari ini melakukan lawatan susulan ke tapak kejadian tanah mendap yang berlaku di kawasan perumahan Jalan Plumbum Seksyen 7, dekat sini pagi tadi.

Othman bersama pegawai-pegawai daripada jabatan yang terlibat, melakukan tinjauan rapi selain mengadakan pertemuan dengan wakil persatuan penduduk.

Dalam pertemuan dengan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Penduduk Jalan Plumbum 101-103, Tanzil Md Noor dan Setiausahanya, Zain Wahinuddin Idris, Othman berkata, PKNS akan memastikan langkah-langkah perlu, yang mengambil kira aspek keselamatan penduduk yang terlibat akan segera diambil.

Katanya, PKNS telah melantik perunding struktur untuk mengkaji keadaan tanah sementara MBSA yang akan bertindak sebagai penyelaras dalam merangka tindakan selepas ini telah pun meminta IKRAM membuat kajian dan analisis berhubung kejadian berkenaan.

“Hasil laporan kajian IKRAM dan perunding struktur PKNS nanti akan diselaraskan dalam satu mesyuarat penyelarasan yang akan dijalankan pada Isnin depan,” katanya.

Pertemuan yang berlangsung harmoni ini sedikit sebanyak meredakan kebimbangan penduduk di kawasan berkenaan. Jawatankuasa penduduk juga menghargai tindakan pantas yang telah diambil oleh agensi-agensi terlibat seperti MBSA, PKNS dan IKRAM dalam membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi mereka.

Sementara itu, penghuni sebuah rumah yang terjejas akibat kejadian ini telah dipindahkan ke Hotel De Palma Shah Alam sehingga kerja-kerja siasatan dan pembaikan selesai dijalankan.
