Thumbs-up for Aquavilla units

SHAH ALAM:  Ninety-two per cent of the Selangor State Development Corporation’s (PKNS) Aquavilla 26 townhouse units, touted to be a peaceful haven within the city, were sold during its preview on May 13.

Living up to its name, Aquavilla’s boutique residential units each face landscaped water features.

“We are not only selling a home, but a lifestyle,” said PKNS development controller (Northern Region) Siti Zubaidah Abd Jabar during the preview in the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC).

She said the homes, which will be surrounded with water, will be a tranquil 0.8-hectare gated and guarded retreat.

Aquavilla’s three-storey townhouses are divided into one-and-a-half lower and upper floors, while each unit ranges in size from 2,054 to 2,533 sq ft.

“This concept uses a strata title, where both lower and upper units share the same entrance stairs, while having their own internal stairs within their units,” said Siti.

Project architect Ahmad Jayaputera said Aquavilla was PKNS’ first high-end townhouse project with contemporary designs.

He said the numerous water features, along with a swimming pool, courtyard and children’s playground will provide a soothing and calming atmosphere.

“The units will also utilise green technology with inverter air-conditioning units and solar water heaters,” he added.

With close proximity to educational institutions, Aquavilla is ideal for young couples looking to start a family or parents buying a space for their varsity-going children.

The development is near Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and Universiti Selangor (Unisel) and is right next door to MAZ International School.

It is also located next to I-City, a fully integrated intelligent city comprising corporate, leisure and residential components.

Aquavilla is already 60 per cent completed and is projected to be completed by year’s end.
